The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case under Sections 498(A), 354(A) and others sections of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the informant Rina Devi, wife of Abhishek Kumar @ Pappu. The informant stated that her husband is of weak mind but her father-in-law and mother-in-law subjected her to all sorts of physical and mental torture due to non-fulfillment of demand of rupees one lakh. She is imparting tuition to bring up her children. It is submitted that the marriage was solemnized in the year 2004. Petitioner no. 1 is a retired professor. Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender in the court below within four weeks from today, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri R.V.S. Parmar, J.M. 1st Class, Naugachia, District - Bhagalpur in Naugachia Mahila P.S. Case No. 53 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
