Petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Maharajganj P.S. Case No. 87 of 2019 for the offence under section 366A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

It is alleged that the petitioner was involved in kidnapping the daughter of the informant with intention to marry her.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that coaccused Ravi Kumar @ Anup against whom there is specific allegation of kidnapping the daughter of the informant, has been granted anticipatory bail by a coordinate bench of this Court in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14233 of 2020(2) dt.03-07-2020 2/2 Cr. Misc. No. 83367 of 2019 vide order dated 8.1.2020. Considering the fact that co-accused has been granted bail, the Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM-V, Siwan, in connection with Maharajganj P.S. Case No. 87 of 2019 subject to the condition as laid down under section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. with further condition that on release the petitioner shall render his service as volunteer in dedicated Covid-19 hospital for a period of one month. He is required to report to the district Nodal Officer who shall utilize the service of the petitioner appropriately.
