2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief/s:

(i) for issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of MANDAMUS, commanding and directing the Respondent authorities to make payment the compensation of Khata No.1.702, Khesra No. 4632, Area 2/1/2 katha about 10 decimal to the petitioner in view of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition,

Patna High Court CWJC No.4821 of 2016(2) dt.17-11-2025 2/3 Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 by which four times compensation amount than the market value is payable to the land owner, as the authority has digged the channel in the aforesaid land of petitioner but neither the land in question has been acquired nor the payment of compensation amount has been paid whereas adjacent to the said plot khata No. 1742, Khesra No.

4632 area 10 decimal acquired by the respondent and compensation paid to Ram Kishore Thakur without using the said plot or a direction to the respondents to return the aforesaid plot to the petitioner in its original position;

(ii) for issuance of any other writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions for which the writ petitioner is entitled under the facts and circumstances. of the case..

3. The claim of the petitioner is that his land has been acquired but compensation has not been given.

4. Learned State counsel submits that the petitioner if

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he shall be filing an appropriate petition in next four weeks.

6. If such petition is preferred within the aforesaid period, the concerned authority shall take up the matter and pass a reasoned order at an earliest.

7. The writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observation.
