The Petitioner seeks bail in Andhratharhi P.S. Case No. 117 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged in the written report that motorcycle of the informant has been stolen by some unknown persons. The petitioner is not named in the First Information Report.

From the impugned order, it appears that police arrested the petitioner merely on suspicion and thereafter recorded his confessional statement.

It has been submitted on behalf of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21145 of 2017 (2) dt.09-05-2017 2/2 petitioner that charge-sheet has already been submitted against the petitioner. The petitioner is said to be in custody since 19.01.2017. In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the Petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of 10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jhanjharpur in connection with Andhrathari P.S. Case No. 117 of 2016, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
