The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Narpatganj P. S. Case No. 164 of 2020, dated 18.04.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 307, 354, 379, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation against the petitioner is of assaulting one Anandi by means of a farsa but curiously, he has not received such injury. The injury is by hard and blunt substance and has been reported to be simple

There is a counter version of the occurrence also which has been lodged by the wife of the petitioner against the informant of the subject FIR.

There are injuries on the side of the petitioner also.

The occurrence arose out of a small dispute at the time of fixing of pegs. The parties are somewhat related to each other.

Considering the afore-noted submissions urged on behalf of the petitioner, he, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria, in connection with Narpatganj P. S. Case No. 164 of 2020, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
