The petitioner is in custody in connection with Mahua P.S. Case No.271 of 2017, a case under Section 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

A stolen motorcycle was recovered from the possession of the petitioner and co-accused Rajan Sahani. Rajan Sahani stated that he had purchased the same from the petitioner. Therefore, the Court-below granted bail to Rajan Sahani.

Submission is that the petitioner has no knowledge about the motorcycle nor he had sold the same to Rajan Sahani. Considering the entire facts, let the petitioner, above

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13881 of 2018 (2) dt.12-03-2018 P2/ named, be released on bail after completion of six months of custody on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with the aforesaid case, with condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
