In this case, the petitioners are seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Deo P.S. Case No.149 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

The petitioners are in-laws of the victim lady. The specific allegation has been made against her husband, who is in jail custody.
