Considering the short nature of dispute involved, the writ application, with the consent of the parties, is being disposed of at this stage.

The petitioner claims herself as the wife of Late Dr. Narendra Mohan Mishra who was an employee of the Government in the Department of Animal Husbandry. While posted as Animal Husbandry Officer in Nauhatta Block in the district of Saharsa, the husband of the petitioner retired on 31.07.2003. Subsequently, he died. While alive, the husband represented on numerous occasions

Patna High Court CWJC No.6404 of 2014 dt.30-01-2016 2/2 before the respondent for payment of Group Insurance amount to which he had contributed vide G.I.C. 811 Head since October, 1979. The widow has now filed the application for a direction commanding the respondents to pay the legal dues of the husband of the petitioner under the head Group Insurance. Representations in this regard have been filed before the Regional Director, Animal Husbandry, Saharsa (respondent no. 2) which is pending consideration. Considering the above, the writ application is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the respondent no. 2 ventilating the aforesaid grievance together with relevant documents in her possession within four weeks. On such filing/presentation, the said respondent will examine the grievance of the petitioner and take appropriate decision and/or pass appropriate order in accordance with law as quickly as possible preferably within two months from such filing presentation.
