2. Learned counsel for the State submits that a remedy is available to the petitioner to file an appeal before the District Appellate Authority.

Considering the facts aforesaid, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file an appeal before the District Appellate Authority within a period of four weeks from today and the District Appellate Authority shall dispose of the same after affording opportunity of personal hearing or through his counsel by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, thereafter.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.

5. The delay, if any, shall be condoned by the District Appellate Authority because the writ petition was pending before this Court since 2021.
