The petitioner seeks bail in Trial No.1711 of 2017 arising out of Bhorey P.S. case No.185 of 2015 instituted under Sections 385, 387/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj.

The earlier bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide Annexure-1 to the present application taking into account that there are six criminal cases pending against the petitioner. A report was called for from the court below regarding the stage of the case. It has been reported that the summons have already been issued to the witnesses and the trial is expected to be concluded within a period of five months,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21674 of 2017(3) dt.20-09-2017 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is rejected. The Trial Court is directed to take necessary steps to conclude the trial preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. The District Magistrate, Gopalganj and the Superintendent of Police, Gopalganj are also directed to take necessary steps to produce the witnesses on the date fixed in the Trial Court so that the trial could be concluded within the stipulated period. Let this order be communicated to the District Magistrate, Gopalganj and the Superintendent of Police, Gopalganj. (Sudhir Singh, J) Narendra/- U T
