Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Excise Case No. 67 of 2017 registered for the offences under Section 273 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the alleged recovery has not been made from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 07.03.2017. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand)

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21257 of 2017 (2) dt.10-05-2017 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Satendra Rajak, 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Purnea in connection with Special Excise Case No. 67 of 2017.
