2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 533 of 2023 lodged on 10.07.2023 for the offences punishable under Section 394, 307 of the Indian Penal Code read with section 27 of the Arms Act pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur.

3. As per the prosecution story, two persons came near the informant's truck and snatched Rs.10,000/- on the gun point from the informant and one of the miscreant fired at him in which a bullet hit him on the right side of his chest.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel

No.15096 of 2024(3) dt.19-04-2024 2/2 also submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and his name has come in this case due to confessional statement of the co-accused. Counsel further submits that the criminal antecedent of the petitioner is not clean and there are two criminal cases pending against him.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

6. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
