Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 427, 387 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3(2) of Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act as well as Section 17 C.L.A.Act.

Submission is that though the informant says that the petitioner was identified in the light of the torch. There is no specific allegation against the petitioner and he has got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two

No.13823 of 2018 (2) dt.09-03-2018 sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Belhar Police Station Case No.196 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
