The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Bettiah Town P.S. Case No. 617 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Section 420/34 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 63 of the Copy Rights Act. As per the prosecution case, all the FIR named accused persons were selling fake product of Lakme brand. It is submitted that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case only on suspicion. Shop in question stands in the name of father of petitioner and petitioner has got nothing to do with the aforesaid shop. Petitioner claims clean antecedents.
