Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Bettiah (Muffasil) P.S. Case No.413 of 2017, registered under Sections 363, 366(A), 328 and 376(D) of the Indian Penal Code as well as under Section 6 of the POCSO Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation of committing rape is against Sujeet and Sudarshan and not against this petitioner, Sanjay Ram, similarly situated accused, has been admitted to bail by this Court vide Cr. Misc. No.9194 of 2018 on 16.02.2018, the case of the petitioner is on similar footing to Sanjay Ram and the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Having considered the said facts and circumstances,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14022 of 2018(2) dt.13-03-2018 2/2 petitioner Deepak Ram is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two ₹ sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Bettiah (Muffasil) P.S. Case No.413 of 2017.
