Petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 505(C) of 2017 for the offence under section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Allegation against this petitioner is that he was involved in torturing the complainant for non fulfilment of the demand of dowry.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10699 of 2020(2) dt.03-03-2020 2/2 Court to para-9 to suggest that the petitioner is ready to keep his wife (opposite party no.2) with full honour and dignity. Considering the aforesaid, in order to promote restitution of normal conjugal rights, the Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kishanganj, in connection with Complaint Case No. 505(C) of 2017 subject to the condition as laid down under section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. In the event, the petitioner neglects, misbehaves or torture the opposite party no.2 (complainant) the Court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner.
