The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Maner P.S. Case No. 527 of 2020, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 323 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case in brief is that all the 14 FIR named accused persons including petitioner who are neighbors of the informant demanded rangdari and assaulted the informant and his son.

It is submitted that specific allegation against petitioner is that he assaulted the informant by means of iron rod, as a result of which right leg of informant got broken. It is further submitted that there was free fight between the parties in

One of the co-accused who is alleged to have assaulted the informant on his shoulder has already been granted bail by this court. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Danapur, Patna in connection with Maner P.S. Case No. 527 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
