Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 465, 420, 421, 414, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 17 of the Unlawful (Activities) Prevention Act, 1967.

Allegation against the petitioner is that he had given Rs.3,00,000/- in cash to another co-accused for sending it to his business premise at Surat.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that at best allegation of tax evasion may be made out and no case of funding to the terrorist as alleged is applicable against the petitioner nor any case of cheating is made out.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17533 of 2018 (2) dt.30-03-2018 2/2 Petitioner is in custody since 08.02.2018. He has got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Kadamkuan Police Station Case No. 92 of 2018, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
