This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Salimpur P.S. Case No. 285 of 2020 for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 504, 353, 224, 225 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

In view of the fact that the petitioner is a student and there is no direct material against him to connect with the crime, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest/surrender within four weeks from today in the Court

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23576 of 2021(2) dt.03-12-2021 2/2 below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna, in connection with Salimpur P.S. Case No. 285 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
