The petitioner seeks bail in K. Hat (Maranga) P.S. Case No. 111 of 2017 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Petitioner was named along with Raja @ Amit and from their possession, 32 bottles each containing one litre royal stag whiskey and 136 bottles of Mac Dowell each containing 180 ML liquor were recovered.

It is submitted that the petitioner is in jail since 05.03.2017.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that small quantity of liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioner and one Raja @ Amit Kumar, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21747 of 2017 (2) dt.11-05-2017 2/2 bond of Rs. 5,000/- (Five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge (Excise), Purnea in connection with K. Hat (Maranga) P.S. Case No. 111 of 2017.
