1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP Sri Chandra Bhushan Prasad for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mahindwara P. S. Case No. 119 of 2021 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8/17(C), 18(C) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. On query of the Court from the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner with regard to the stage of the case, it has been fairly submitted that charges have been framed and six prosecution witnesses have been examined.

4. Since trial has commenced and six prosecution witnesses have been examined and this is the 4th attempt of the petitioner to seek bail in a case relating to seizure of commercial quantity of AFIM, the Court is not inclined to release the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12192 of 2025(4) dt.04-07-2025 2/2 petitioner on bail.

5. The prayer of the petitioner for anticipatory bail stands rejected.
