The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Kotwali (Jogsar) P.S. Case No. 177 of 2019 for offences under Sections 406, 420 and 506 of the IPC. Allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner and her husband has taken money for sale of some land but on enquiry, it transpired that the said land was sold earlier and when the informant demanded refund of money, they have threatened for dire consequences.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. The husband of the petitioner has been granted regular bail by a coordinate Bench

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14255 of 2020(2) dt.06-07-2020 2/2 of this Court on 15.05.2019 in Cr.Misc.No.32291 of 2019. Considering the fact that the husband of the petitioner was granted bail, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the CJM, Bhagalpur in connection with Kotwali (Jogsar) P.S. Case No. 177 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr. P. C.
