Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 114, 116, 143, 353, 447, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner was identified as member of the mob which was protesting against death of a person by electrocution. Allegation against the petitioner is that he was provoking the mob and was obstructing in discharge of official duty by the police.
Considering the nature of allegation, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14763 of 2018 (2) dt.14-03-2018 2/2 where the case is pending in connection with Saharghat Police Station Case No. 60 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
