The petitioners seek bail in Marauna P.S. case No. 95 of 2016 under Section 364, 201, 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant alleged that his sister was married with Durganand Sah and his sister gave birth to a female child. It is further alleged that when her sister gave birth to a female child and second wife of her husband gave birth to a male child, the accused persons began to torture his sister. They also demanded additional dowry. The sister of informant came to his house but Durganand Sah, husband of his sister, came and took her sister after giving assurance to keep her properly but his sister became
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21751 of 2017 (4) dt.29-06-2017 2/2 traceless. The informant made frantic search but even then his sister could not be traced out.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioners are father-in-law, mother-in-law and second wife of Durganand Sah, husband of the sister of informant. Durganand Sah has already surrendered in the court on 23.06.2017 and supplementary affidavit to this effect is filed before this court. Considering the facts that petitioners are father-in-law, mother-in-law and second wife of the husband of sister of informant, the above named petitioners are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Kumar Krishnadeo, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Supaul in Marauna P.S. Case No. 95 of 2016.
