This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Dinara P.S.Case No.328 of 2015 for the offences under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is husband and the case is against demand of dowry.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that no specific allegation has been attributed against the petitioner and now he has remained in custody for more than 11 months. Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for bail.

Having heard both sides and from perusal of the record, it appears that there is allegation of demand of dowry as well as

No.22471 of 2017 (2) dt.11-05-2017 2/2 torture as such, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage, however, considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody for about four months, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of one year. With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
