The petitioner is accused in connection with Gamharia P.S. Case No. 190 of 2015, registered under Sections 341, 323, 307, 384, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhepura.
The accusation is of making demand of ransom by the petitioner and two others named in the F.I.R. from the informant on the point of pistol.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that while the petitioner is named in the F.I.R. along with two others but the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23950 of 2017 (3) dt.28-06-2017 specific allegation against accused Shashi Yadav to make fire at the informant through pistol. It is further submitted that while petitioner is accused in 25 others cases, but almost in 20 cases, he is on bail and in the present case, he is in custody since 30.03.2016.
Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of bail stands rejected.
