Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Excise Case No. 108 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under section 30(C) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case due to dirty village politics. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of this petitioner. The alleged recovery is said to have been made from a public place as is evident from the seizure list with which the petitioner has no concern.

No.23896 of 2021(2) dt.04-02-2022 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Excise, Gaya in connection with Excise Case No. 108 of 2020 subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
