2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 109 and 61 of the BNS.
3. The case of the prosecution, in brief, is that the petitioner had called the informant near a temple, where the coaccused persons allegedly opened fire upon the informant. It is alleged that the informant sustained as many as eight gunshot injuries.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12601 of 2026(3) dt.08-04-2026 2/3 connection with the present case. It is further submitted that, from a perusal of the F.I.R. itself, it is evident that there is no specific allegation of firing against this petitioner. The only allegation against him is that he had called the informant to the temple, where the other accused persons committed the act of firing. It is further submitted that, from the injury report, it transpires that the doctor who conducted the medical examination found multiple bullet injuries on the body of the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has also submitted that co-accused, Dheeraj Singh @ Dheeraj Kumar Singh, against whom there is a specific allegation of firing, has already been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 01.04.2026 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 19988 of 2026, and as such, the case of the present petitioner stands on a better footing.
6. Learned counsel for the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner is the person responsible for the occurrence, as he had called the informant to the place of occurrence where the firing took place.
7. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12601 of 2026(3) dt.08-04-2026 3/3 bail in connection with Bhore P.S. Case No. 420 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Gopalganj.
