2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

"(a) for issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of certiorari for quashing of the order dated 20.03.2023 (Annexure-7) passed by the Grievances Redressal Committee Gaya headed by Additional Collector Gaya Cum Chairman Grievances Redressal Committee Gaya (Respondent no.3) by which it has been held that the land of Khata No. 97 Plot No. 722 Plot and 723 as well as land of Khata No. 63 plot no.9 is a Kaisre Hind land and has been directed to maintain Status quo over the land.

(b) for issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the Respondents not to enciscling construct Corridor encircling the land settled with the vendors of the forefather of

3/4 petitioner.

(c) for issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of Mandamus commanding the Respondents to grant adequate compensation to the petitioner in lieu of acquiring their land for construction of corridor.

(d) for grant of any other relief or reliefs to which the petitioner is found entitled to in the facts and circumstances of the case.

3. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he shall be approaching the respondent no. 2, the Collector, Gaya Ji for the redressal of the grievance.

4. Learned counsel representing the respondents including the Indian Railways submit that though they have no objection to the petitioner's filing separate petition before the Collector, Gaya Ji, the appropriate course should have been to prefer a petition before the competent Civil Court.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the report of the inquiry committee headed by the Additional Collector-cum-Chairman of the inquiry team under (DFCC) Rail Project, Gaya Ji have given a different finding and in the light of said Notification No. 1371 dated 13.04.2026, he shall be

4/4 approaching the Collector, Gaya Ji for the redressal of the grievance.

6. Granting said liberty and expecting the Collector, Gaya Ji to pass a reasoned order in accordance with law after hearing all the parties, the writ petition is disposed of. (Rajiv Roy, J) munindra/- U
