The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sugauli P.S. Case No.66 of 2018 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition of Excise Act, 2016.
The accusation is of recovery of 532 liters Indian Made Foreign Liquor, kept in 1800 bottles, from near the bridge, situated at Parshurampur School. The petitioner was apprehended 50 meters away from the bridge.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was not apprehended with the alleged seized liquor rather he is said to be apprehended 50 meters away from the place of the occurrence. The petitioner having no criminal

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-IV-cum-Special Judge, Excise, East Champaran at Motihari, in connection with Sugauli P.S. Case No.66 of 2018.
