The petitioner is in custody in connection with Paraiya P.S. Case No. 151 of 2019 registered for the offence under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code.

On consideration of the materials available on the record, this Court is not impressed to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer is rejected.

However, the District and Sessions Judge, Bhojpur at Ara, is directed to take steps for conclusion of the trial of the case by the Fast Track Court preferably within a period of one year. In the event, the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid
