This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Pakri Barawan P.S.Case No.15 of 2017 for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 324 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is about assault on the injured, who is victim girl.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that actually there was love affair between the parties and the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case at the instance of the family members of the injured. It is also submitted that the petitioner is in custody for about three months.

Heard learned A.P.P. and the learned counsel for the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22462 of 2017 (2) dt.11-05-2017 2/2 informant. They have opposed the prayer for bail stating that altogether 09 injuries were found on the person of the victim girl. Having heard both sides and in view of allegation as well as considering the injuries on the person of the victim girl, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, the petitioner is in custody for more than three months, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner. With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
