Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to remove defect(s), as pointed out by the office, if any, within a period of four weeks from today.

This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Khanpur P.S. Case No. 120 of 2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a)/37(c) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

About 750 ml. liquor has been recovered from a Scorpio vehicle and the driver was found in drunken condition. The petitioner is the owner of the vehicle.

Considering the aforesaid facts, this bail application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest/surrender within four weeks from today in the Court

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13105 of 2022(2) dt.01-04-2022 2/2 below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Excise Court-1, Samastipur, in connection with Khanpur P.S. Case No. 120 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
