2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barachatti (Mohanpur) P.S. Case No. 1126/2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The following order was passed on the last occasion i.e. 10.04.2024 when the petitioner had moved for bail:- "Heard the parties.

2. Call for the status report regarding the current stage of trial in connection with Barachatti (Mohanpur) P.S. Case No. 1126 of 2022 from the Court of learned A.C.J.M.-II, Sherghati, Gaya/concerned Court.

3. List this case after six weeks."

4. The report of the trial was called. The trial court has reported that the charge has been framed and summons have

5. Mr. Krishna Prasad Singh, learned Senior Counsel, has submitted that the petitioner is in jail since 28.02.2023 and since no witness has been examined, he may be granted bail.

6. It is the petitioner who had taken the deceased in Jungle and thereafter killed her.

7. In these circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to this petitioner. It is accordingly dismissed.

8. The trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.

9. The Senior Superintendent of Police, Gaya is directed to produce the witnesses on the date fixed.

10. Let a copy of the order be communicated to the District Judge, Gaya and also to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Gaya through FAX/e-mail forthwith for compliance of the order.
