The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Govindpur P.S. Case No. 239 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 30 liters of illicit liquor from the bag kept in the vehicle belonging to the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and in fact neither the illicit liquor nor the vehicle belongs to the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 25.12.2018.

Case No. 239 of 2018.
