2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences punishable under Section 126 (2), 127 (2), 115 (2), 118 (1), 109, 308(3), 3 (5) of the B.N.S., 2023 but, later on, Section 27 of the Arms Act was added.

3. The case in the first information report is that on the date of occurrence while the other accused persons were assaulting and pressing the neck of the informant, the petitioner was resorting to firing in the air.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that it would be apparent from the first information report itself that there is no allegation of assault upon the petitioner rather

With regard to the petitioner, it has only been stated that he was resorting firing in the air and due to which no injury was caused to anyone. The specific allegation in the F.I.R. is against Ravi Prakash @ Manit and Shivam Kumar @ Golu of demanding ransom and assaulting by knife. It is further submitted that the said Shivam Kumar @ Golu has already been granted the privilege of anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 21.03.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No.11516 of 2025. The petitioner has one criminal antecedent as stated in para-3 of this application.

5. Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail on the ground that the petitioner has criminal antecedent. In response to this, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the said case the petitioner is on bail.

In such view of the matter, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending/successor Court in connection with Nanpur P.S. Case No.587 of 2024, subject to the condition as laid down under

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14782 of 2025(3) dt.30-04-2025 3/3 Section 482 (2) of the B.N.S.S., subject to further condition that one of the bailors will be his family members/relative.

7. The court below is directed to verify the criminal antecedent of the petitioner as stated in paragraph no.3 of the bail application. If any other case is pending against the petitioner as what has been stated in paragraph no.3, this order will loose its force automatically. However, it is expected that the verification process would be done expeditiously without causing any delay.
