The petitioner is in custody since 19.08.2016 in connection with Bidupur P.S. Case No. 220 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under section 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the FIR and his name has been disclosed by one Ranjeet Kumar from whom the petitioner is having inimical terms. He further submits that one Ranjeet Kumar, who has disclosed his name, has been granted bail by a co-ordinate bench of this Court vide order dated 24.03.2017 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 10010 of 2017.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc.
