2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sikty P.S. Case No. 188 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. As per prosecution case, 892.200 liters of illicit liquor was recovered from a pick up van.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is neither owner nor driver of the seized pick up van. Petitioner is in custody since 24.12.2024 and he claims clean antecedent. No incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner.

5. Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Exclusive Special Excise Court-2, Araria in connection with Sikty P.S.
