JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 15-12-2022 Though the present writ petition was filed for grant of arms license to the petitioner, however a counter affidavit has been filed by the District Magistrate, Khagaria, in the present case, wherein, it has been stated that the application of the petitioner, filed for grant of arms license in the year, 2017, has been rejected, by an order dated 18.09.2017, passed by the District Magistrate, Khagaria in Arms License Case No. 84 of 2017. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.3772 of 2022(2) dt.15-12-2022 2/2 petitioner to challenge the aforesaid order dated 18.09.2017, by filing appropriate appeal. Liberty so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case, appropriate appeal is filed by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today, the Appellate Authority shall consider the same on merits, without being impeded by the issue of limitation, and pass a reasoned and a speaking order thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
