JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 02-03-2020 The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 329 of 2018, arising out of Andhramath P.S. Case No. 130 of 2017 dated 07.12.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 427 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was twice rejected earlier for the fact that he was the author of the main injury.

On the last occasion, this Court had directed the trial court to conclude the trial, preferably within six months. More than six months have passed and according to the petitioner, all the five chargesheeted witnesses have been examined, but the trial has not concluded as yet.

No.13226 of 2020(2) dt.02-03-2020 2/2 Considering the aforestated facts, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at present, but am persuaded to direct the trial court to conclude the trial positively within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
