Patna High Court CWJC No.3721 of 2023(2) dt.10-08-2023 2/3 counsel for the respondent-Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (hereinafter referred as "Institute"). 2.

The petitioners who are tutors appointed in the year 2011 in the respondent-Institute have approached this court with a grievance that they are not being made available the financial progression in terms of the Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme (hereinafter referred as "MACP Scheme"). 3.

It is submitted by learned senior counsel for the petitioners that a provisional list was created for the same on 20.01.2022 which has subsequently also been acted upon but till date, the benefits of financial progression of MACP Scheme remains elusive to the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the respondent-Institute submits that on 24.08.2023 the competent authority in the institute is to consider the claim of all eligible persons and the entitlement is likely to be finalized.

In view of such development subsequent to filing of the instant writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of. 1.

This court, however, would consider it appropriate that since the respondents have fixed a date as 24.08.2023, the authorities should proceed expeditiously within
