The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.509 of 2017 registered for offences punishable under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of D.P.Act..

Allegation is of assault and harassment against the petitioner with respect to demand of dowry.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that she is residing in his house and he is ready to keep her with full dignity and care.

Heard learned A.P.P. and the learned counsel for the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12829 of 2019(3) dt.30-04-2019 2/2 no.P.no.2 has opposed the prayer for bail on the ground that only due to fear of this case, the petitioner has kept in his house and as such she need some protection. .

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, let the petitioner surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the order along with the O.P.no2 and on surrender, he will be released on provisional bail for a period of six months in connection with Complaint Case No.509/2017 and during that period, the conduct of both parties will be watched by the learned lower court and only when he is satisfied with the conduct and matrimonial relationship of the petitioner and the O.P.no.2 he will confirm the bail bond of the petitioner , otherwise he is free to pass any other order or orders as he deems fit and proper.

With the aforesaid direction, this application is disposed of.
