Petitioner has earlier move this Court for grant of bail in Cr. Misc. Nos. 16746 of 2019, which were rejected vide order dated 22.07.2019 (Annexure-1).

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case due to Panchayat election rivalry. Petitioner played active role in the said election for one contesting Mukhiya. Petitioner is in custody since 10.12.2018.

Vide order dated 17.06.2020 a report was called for from the court below regarding the stage of the trial, which has been received. Perused the same.

Having considered the above facts and circumstances

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19421 of 2020(3) dt.04-09-2020 2/2 of the case specially the fact that petitioner's prayer for bail has been earlier rejected and there is no fresh ground urged on behalf of the petitioner, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial of the case and conclude it within a period of six months.
