====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 05-02-2018 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in Katihar Nagar Sahayak PS Case No. 941 of 2017 registered under Sections 147, 341, 323, 379, 307, 504 of the IPC and Section 27 of the Arms Act. The allegation against the petitioner in brief is that he shot at the informant causing fire arm injury.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the injury is on the leg, not on the vital part and are simple in nature rather appear to be self inflicted.

Having considered the specific allegation against the petitioner and corresponding fire arm injury is found, the prayer for bail is rejected.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and preferably conclude the same within a period of one year after framing of the charge.
