2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 307/120B and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, all the FIR named accused persons came on motorcycle and made indiscriminate firing as a result of which father-in-law of the informant sustained gun shot injuries.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the informant has not made any suspicion. He is not named in the FIR. Petitioner's name has come in this case during course of investigation on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16035 of 2024(2) dt.14-03-2024 2/2 for bail. He submits that during investigation it has come that petitioner and other accused persons made indiscriminate firing as a result of which father-in-law of the informant sustained fire arm injury. Besides this, petitioner has got criminal antecedent of similar nature.

6. Considering the nature of accusation and the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
