The petitioner, who is in custody since 22.12.2019, seeks bail in connection with Dhamdaha P. S. Case No. 362 of 2019 dated 05.12.2019 registered for offences under Sections 323, 341, 342, 324, 307 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

One Suraj Kumar Yadav is said to have assaulted the son of the informant by means of a dagger because of some dispute over money. The petitioner, though has not been attributed with any positive role,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11072 of 2020(2) dt.28-02-2020 2/2 but has been made accused in this case because of his being father-in-law of the aforesaid Suraj Kumar Yadav. It is also reflected from the impugned order that the nature of injury suffered by the victim is simple. Considering the afore-stated facts and clean antecedents of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with Dhamdaha P. S. Case No. 362 of 2019.
