The petitioner is in custody in connection with Kurlikot P.S. Case No. 02 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 379, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4(B) of Bihar Prevention Improvement of Animal Act, 1955 and Section 11(A)(D) of Prevention of Cruelty of Animal Act, 1960. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 09.01.2019. He further submits that he was not involved in smuggling of animals.

Considering the fact that he has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner named above be released on bail on furnishing

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12723 of 2019(2) dt.01-03-2019 2/2 bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court of learned Sri P.K. Tiwari, Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Kishanganj in connection with Kurlikot P.S. Case No. 02 of 2019.
