Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Kashichak P.S. Case No.10 of 2018, registered under Sections 384 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation is that from Mobile No.8651693614 extortion demand of Rs.2,00,000/- was made from the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mobile from which call was made is in the name of Karu Mahto and he has said that it was stolen by the petitioner but no complaint was made by him, the petitioner has clean antecedent and he is in custody since 31.01.2018.

Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, petitioner Pintoo Kumar is directed to be released on bail on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15246 of 2018(2) dt.21-03-2018 2/2 furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Nawada in connection with Kashichak P.S. Case No.10 of 2018 with conditions that one of the bailors must be the close family member of the petitioner and the petitioner shall remain physically present on each and every date before the trial court and if he absents himself on two consecutive dates without any reasonable cause, his bail bond shall liable to be cancelled.
