2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Biraul P.S. Case No. 449 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 342, 354(A) and 354(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8 and 12 of the POCSO Act.

3. One Parmbir Pawan had eloped with the victim girl. Learned counsel submits that this Court vide order dated 27.02.2024 in Cr. Misc. No. 75089 of 2023 has granted bail to a similarly situated co-accused namely, Parmbir Paswan @ Parambir Paswan. The petitioner is in jail since 16.10.2023.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

5. Considering the period of custody and also the fact

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19183 of 2024(3) dt.10-04-2024 2/2 that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Judge (POCSO Act), Darbhanga in connection with Biraul P.S.
