2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Katihar Muffasil P.S. Case No. 86 of 2023 (G.R. No. 2408/2023) dated 02.05.2023 registered for the offence punishable u/s 406, 420 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that he entered into an agreement with the co-accused/ director of the company namely, Narayan Mallick and Aditi Mallick and also gave substantial amount by way of advance to them. The petitioner was working as a broker.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Learned counsel has submitted that the petitioner is office boy and has only introduced the informant with the director of the company. The petitioner is accused in four other criminal cases out of which he is on bail in three cases as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 08.08.2023.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Katihar in connection with Katihar Muffasil P.S. Case No. 86 of 2023( G. R. No. 2408/2023).

7. The application stands allowed.
